Over 1,000 fans were in attendance at Newport Stadium for this U21 friendly as Brian Flynn's side claimed a 1-0 victory through a goal from substitute Elliott Chamberlain.
Billy Bodin, the son of current U21 manager Paul, was included in the starting line-up, while Jazz Richards and Jonny Williams were the players involved that day who would later be a part of Chris Coleman's EURO 2016 squad. Meanwhile, Austria goalkeeper Heinz Lindner is currently part of the senior squad and has made 28 appearances for his country.
