Andorra U21 0-1 Cymru U21

The opening match of U21 EURO 2013 qualifying took Brian Flynn's side to Andorra la Vella, and while Cymru emerged with all three points and a clean sheet, it was a less than impressive start to what would prove to be a difficult campaign.

An own goal from Armand Fajardo on 21 minutes was all that would separate the two sides. Cymru would later claim a 4-0 win over Andorra in the return match at Wrexham the following year, but Flynn's side would only win three of their eight games in what would be his last campaign as manager of the Cymru intermediate teams, while Andorra failed to register a single point.

Cymru U21 XI: R.Taylor, Richards, Brown, Matthews, Alfei, Partington, Williams, Doble, J.Taylor, Lucas, Chamberlain.

Subs: Cornell, Bodin, Cassidy, Ogleby, Bender, Craig, Walsh.
